Iranian short film 'Trap' has made into official selection list of the Brno 16 Int'l Short Film Festival in the Czech Republic.
"A lonely girl sells necklaces to soldiers who attacked her village, but these necklaces may set a trap for them," a short description for Shirin Ekhlasi's accepted title in the competition section of the event reads.
'Trap' is the directorial debut of Ekhlasi with no words included in the short.
As the oldest local international festival, Brno 16 is a four-day international competition of selected short non-commercial live-action fiction films.
The 60th edition of Brno 16 is slated for October 9–12, 2019.
